I’m trying to hire teaching staff

And I’m kind of shocked at how informal the email inquiries/responses are.

I’m not one for unnecessary stuffiness, but I like my emails to start with a “Hello Dr. ___________” when it comes unsolicited from a random undergrad looking for a position.

Call me old-fashioned.
