I ran into a woman who audited my class during the school year and was enrolled in the night school version on my way back from grabbing lunch.  I met with her a couple of times to go over concepts/help her study/etc. even though she wasn’t enrolled in my course.  She let me know how much I helped her this past year and wanted to tell me “how gifted you are at your job.”  In a job where the malcontents are the loudest, it’s nice to hear the positive comments.
